Interaction, Experience Sharing, and Farewell Session for Mr. Kamran Haider Zaidi

Event Date :

On August 14, 2025, the Resources Himalaya Foundation (RHF) organized an interaction and farewell session for Mr. Kamran Haider Zaidi, who completed his three-month fellowship with the Foundation from May 14 to August 14, 2025.

Mr. Zaidi, a Research Scholar at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, joined RHF as a Visiting Research Fellow under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Dinesh Raj Bhuju. During his fellowship, he conducted research on energy poverty, climate changeโ€“induced disasters, and their gendered impacts in urban and peri-urban spaces of Nepal.

In the farewell program, Mr. Zaidi shared his research learnings, field experiences, and reflections on community engagement, while also highlighting the academic insights and personal growth he gained during his stay in Nepal.

Beyond his research contributions, Mr. Zaidi will be remembered at RHF as a humble, friendly, and collaborative colleague โ€” always ready to help, listen, and share his knowledge. His openness, positive spirit, and willingness to support others left a lasting impression on the RHF team.

As he returns to continue his academic journey, RHF extends its sincere appreciation to Mr. Zaidi for his dedication and contributions. We wish him continued success in his future endeavors and hope to see the bonds of friendship and collaboration built during his time in Nepal grow even stronger.

Resources Himalaya Foundation remains committed to supporting young researchers and fostering collaborative research that contributes to a more sustainable and inclusive future.
