EGH Day 2022-Nature Hike

Environmental Graduates in Himalaya (EGH) organized a Nature Hike on February 19, 2022 to mark and celebrate EGH Day (February 23). This is a yearly program organized by the EGH Coordinator. The destination chosen for this year was Champadevi temple, Kirtipur. A total of 17 people from different background participated. After meeting at Balkhu, we moved towards Pahiro bus stop, Dakshinkali road where all the participants gave their short introduction. The hiking started with all the excitement and reaching to the Champadevi temple was our best miles to be covered by foot. With short refreshment at the top, the next route to Pushpalal Park was followed. Activities like bird watching, exploration of nature, plant identification were carried out during the hike along with knowledge dissemination and interaction with experts Dr. Dinesh Neupane and Mr. Suraj Baral.
