The PYCF Series 132 session was successfully conducted on November 14th at Jana Prabhat Secondary School. We extend our sincere gratitude to our esteemed speakers, Ms. Binu Moktan and Ms. Laya Thapaliya, who presented on “Nature’s Sanctuary: A Closer Look at National Parks of Nepal” for imparting valuable knowledge about the National parks of Nepal and the related challenges to Grade 9 students.
The session commenced with an introductory overview of the organization, its mission, and the session’s objectives, presented by EGH Coordinator, Ms. Jyoti Khadka. Following, Ms. Laya Thapaliya provided an insightful presentation on the current status of Nepal’s national parks, while Ms. Binu Moktan elaborated on conservation strategies and the ongoing challenges faced in this area.
The session concluded with reflections from two students, providing a thoughtful summary of the key takeaways. The event was concluded on a positive note, leaving the students with a deeper understanding of the importance of national parks and the efforts needed for their preservation.
