SHARING EXPERIENCES OF JANUARY

For the month of January, in our monthly programme ‘Sharing Experiences’ we had Mr Tek Raj Awasthi, program presenter, Radio Nepal. Mr Awasthi started his talks through concrete definition of ‘Media’ and it’s importance in today’s world. He briefly described the positive and negative aspects of media along with some genuine examples (incidents) hereby in Nepal. He mentioned about Bagmati clean up campaign, pollution in Kathmandu, etc. and clarified the role of media in these issues throughout his talks. Later on, he emphasized on media activities in being practical and serving public rather than displaying professionalism.
