WELCOME AND FAREWELL OF EGH COORDINATOR 2022

Resources Himalaya Foundation and Environment Graduates in Himalaya organized Welcome and Farewell of EGH Coordinator on March 11. The objective of this program was to appreciate and acknowledge the contributions of EGH Coordinator, award the participants involved during the past six months, welcome the new EGH Coordinator and farewell of the present coordinator. The program was organized physically at Dr. Pralad Yonzon Conservation Chautari and attended by the editors of Headlines Himalaya, intern and Wildlife Training Graduates of 2022, RHF staff members and honorable guest. Prof. Dr. Ram Bahadur Chhetri, Chairperson of RHF chaired the program.
With the welcoming note and the general outline of program by Ms. Srijana Sigdel, the program moved towards certificate distribution to the intern and the editors involved from September, 2021 to February, 2022. The graduates of Wildlife Training, 2022 which was held on February 27- March 08 in collaboration with WWF Nepal, NTNC and ZSL Nepal, were awarded with the certificates. The accumulated experience, learnt and unlearnt things during the 10 days training was beautifully shared by one of the graduates, Ms. Lila Paudel. Acknowledging all the participants of past six months, Ms. Saraswati Thapa Chhetri was welcomed by the former coordinator Ms. Srijana Sigdel and position was handed over. Former coordinator was farewelled with token of love. Dr. Dinesh Neupane, Executive Director at RHF provided vote of thanks and the program ended with concluding remarks by the chair of the program.
