Environmental Graduates in Himalaya marked “World Rhino Day” on 20 September by organizing a talk programme. Our guest speakers were Dr. Dinesh Raj Bhuju, General Secretary of Resources Himalaya Foundation (RHF) and Dr. Brook Milligan, Director of Conservation Genomics Laboratory and Professor of Biology at New Mexico State University.
Dr. Bhuju highlighted the importance of Science and Technology in Nepal for development and conservation and Dr Milligan interacted with our participants on the application of genetics for conservation.
