A CALL FOR RHF FELLOWSHIP FOR IMMERSION COURSE-2023

1. Background:
Quite a fact that academia today has witnessed an increasing trend of university students aspiring to undertake research studies in the field of biodiversity, conservation, and environment. However, the lack of appropriate mentoring, upskilling programs, and desirable platforms prevents them from acquiring the skillsets required to help them thrive in their career. Considering this niche to be filled in on time, Resources Himalaya Foundation (RHF), a semi-academic, research and policy think tank in the field of environment, conservation, and socio-economic development announces a call for RHF Fellowship – 2023 for university graduates from all over the country.

2. What is RHF Fellowship?
RHF Fellowship for University students is an intensive program designed to enrich what the learners already possess; their academic knowledge and real-world skills which they have not yet been able to translate into a full-fledged career spectrum. This fellowship intends to uphold the same caliber of competence and resilience by providing dimensional training sessions throughout the year of enrollment.

3. Objective:
RHF Fellowship shall enable the university young graduates to develop the first-hand experience of capacity building and soft skills through various time-tested seminars, conferences, and workshops delivered by the subject professionals and engaging fellows to carry out our RHF-related intervention that shall eventually enrich their professional career.

4. Fellowship and Duration:
The fellowship is planned for six months starting from October 2023. A total of 20 graduates will be selected to enroll for the fellowship for their learning exposure. All the costs for learning activities will be covered by RHF. The graduate students enrolled in RHF Fellowship will have ID card, access to RHF facilities, and entire learning activities including alumni membership.

5. Learning Framework:
The objective of the fellowship is to equip graduate students with professional skills and practical exposure for their career pathways. The fellows receive training and mentoring for their capacity building and have an opportunity to participate in a number of RHF activities for their practical learning and acquiring professional skill sets that are important for their further study and professional career which include project management, research study, communication, writing proposal and reports, resource mobilization, planning and organizing events, social media and promotion.

6. Eligibility of the fellowship:

Any interested University graduate from Social Science and Management, Natural Science, and Engineering and Technology possessing good English and Computer Basics can apply. The selected students for the fellowship will receive all the services designed for this purpose in free of cost.

7. Fellowship completion:

Attending throughout the learning cycle of the fellowship and completing all the requirements successfully will graduate and receive a certificate of completion at the end of the program.

8. Submission of the application:
